My name is Temiloluwa Ladipo; I was a student in the WAEC class at The 16 Plus School. I was a student there for about eight months, and in those eight months, I learned a lot both academically and morally.

One of the reasons I like The 16 Plus School is because of how much they are interested in not only impacting the students academically but also morally with daily morning prayers and messages.

I also like The 16 Plus School because of the more one-on-one interaction between teachers and students, unlike in a class with so many students. I got enough room to ask questions and to have more in-depth explanations of some vague concepts from experienced and amiable teachers. The teachers are very approachable, and they even encouraged students to meet them if they didn’t fully understand a topic or concept.

The curriculum was a bit challenging, but it encouraged us to study regularly with the monthly tests and assignments we had.

I also got to meet new people and learn to leave my comfort zone. The food was also nice and nutritious.

My experience at The 16 Plus School has definitely been amazing and memorable. Thanks to the friendly environment, I have been able to make new, unbreakable bonds and friendships with amazing people. The teaching and non-teaching staff have been of great help to me during my time in the OSSD programme. The teaching staff members make sure that everyone understands the courses in the programme and is able to finish on time. Students participate in a few extracurricular activities, such as football, basketball, and community service, in addition to the academic side of the school.

In conclusion, during my time at The 16 Plus School, I gained many priceless lessons that are essential to my personal growth, both inside and outside of the classroom. I am grateful for everything I’ve learned and everyone I’ve met, and I wouldn’t change a thing if I had the option to.

I started attending The 16 Plus School in September 2023, and I will not say that I regret making this decision. The teachers and everyone in the school have worked hard to make me a better person. Within these past months, I have met people from different backgrounds, and this has helped me build a very strong social life and know how to treat people differently. Aside from all these, the school also helped me with my foreign admissions processing.

The 16 Plus School is highly recommended because it does not only teach students to be sound academically but also morally. The school instills good morals in its students.

My time at The 16 Plus School has been a total rollercoaster of academic adventures and personal growth. Being part of this incredible academic community has been such a blessing. I have met some seriously awesome and unique students, and the teachers here are absolutely top-notch. They have always had my back, whether it was helping me crack a tough math problem or tackling a mind-bending physics challenge. I am really grateful to have been a part of this tight-knit community that feels like a second family.

I cannot thank the teachers enough for their exceptional dedication and expertise. They have made learning so much fun. And the best part? We’re all in this together. The camaraderie and support at this school are off the charts. It’s like we’re a squad on a mission to conquer the academic world!

I just want to say a massive thank you to The 16 Plus School for an incredible 10 months. You guys are wonderful! Keep pushing boundaries and giving students like me the best education ever.

My entire nine-month stay at The 16 Plus School can be summed up with the four-word phrase, “AN ENTHRALLING ROLLERCOASTER EXPERIENCE. These nine months were filled with a myriad of moments, ranging from the good to the bad and even the ugly, all of which contributed to my understanding of life.

One aspect of my experience at The 16 Plus School that stood out was the range of programmes that were offered. While there were various subjects to choose from, I decided to pursue the A-level programme and opted for Economics, English, and Literature as my focus areas. This decision proved pivotal to my personal growth and academic development.

Had I chosen to proceed directly to university after secondary school, I believe my ability to think critically and analytically would not have been refined as it is now. The vigorous academic curriculum at The 16 Plus School challenged me to push my boundaries and delve deeper into the subjects I studied. The exposure to complex economic theories, literary masterpieces, and advanced English concepts broadened my horizons and equipped me with valuable skills that extend beyond the realm of academics.

The teachers at The 16 Plus School played an integral role in my transformative journey by not teaching me everything but letting me bring my ideas to the classroom, no matter how silly or ridiculous they sounded. With my ever-dedicated teachers, the classroom became my safe space, one in which there was an unshaken balance between discipline, fun, and, surprisingly, arguments. Through their motivation, I was ignited by the fuel of curiosity to not only read literary masterpieces but to question them. All their efforts and sacrifices, I would say, have made me believe in my own opinions rather than digest everything that I read hook, line, and sinker.

In retrospect, my experience at The 16 Plus School has been transformative, both academically and personally. It has cultivated in me an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and an understanding of different personalities and how to cope with them in the real world.

I felt a sense of belonging the instant I walked through the doors of this amazing sixth form school. It seemed like a second home because to the students’ and staff’s sincere kindness. The teachers’ contagious enthusiasm and dedication turned learning into an exciting journey. In addition to teaching us, they spent time getting to know us and our goals, offering us support along the way.

The exciting extracurricular activities that brought us together outside of the classroom helped us create lifetime connections and priceless memories.

This place has truly shaped who I am, and I will always be appreciative of the life-changing experience it has given me.

My experience in the ’16 Plus Family’ is definitely one I would describe as memorable. The school has a very tight-knit community, which allowed me to interact more with my knowledgeable teachers as well as collaborate with my classmates and build timeless friendships. The support system within the school helped me keep up with the pace of the OSSD programme, especially when I first started. Aside from the academic staff, the auxiliary staff also made the school more conducive for all the students. The few disagreements I witnessed were settled amicably in no time without the need for extreme sanctions. In order to maintain the satisfaction of both parents and students, the management also responded quickly to complaints made through the various channels made available, like the School Council and Reflection Book.

Aside from the academic aspect of the school, students take part in a few extra-curricular activities such as football, basketball, and community service. A high standard of values was set for the students from the very first day, which is necessary for a successful university experience

I have learned many invaluable lessons both inside and outside of the classroom during my time at The 16 Plus School, which are necessary for my development as an individual. Without any regrets, if given the choice, I would still have chosen to enrol in The 16 Plus School.

I attended The 16 Plus School for a year, and there are many things I like about the school.

First and foremost, the teachers are amazing. They are knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help students. Additionally, the facilities at the school are top-notch. The classrooms and labs are well equipped, and there are resources available to students, such as the library.

The extracurricular activities at the school are diverse and engaging, like seminars that hold once in a while and debate competitions that also hold every fortnight, and they provide students with opportunities to pursue their interests and enter the top universities and colleges of their dreams.

The workload can be overwhelming at times. There are many assignments and projects to complete, and it can be difficult to balance schoolwork with other activities at times, but it’s all for a good cause.

The teachers are knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, and they do a great job of engaging students and making learning fun. One standout class I’ve taken is Data Processing and Math, which was challenging but also extremely rewarding. Overall, I would definitely recommend The 16 Plus School to others. While there are a few things I don’t like about the school, the pros far outweigh the cons. I’ve had an amazing experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunities it has provided me. For prospective students, my advice would be to get involved in extracurricular activities and stay on top of your schoolwork. With hard work and dedication, you can succeed.
